Illinois State comeback dooms Missouri State

The Redbirds scored first but missed their point after attempt in the first quarter on Saturday October 25th under the lights at Hancock Stadium against the Bears of Missouri State.  They didn't score again until late in the game but came back from a 7-6 deficiet. It was enough for the Redbirds to grab their 7th win of the season to remain undefeated for the season and in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

ISU women put down Mo. State

Missouri State Lady Bears were pretty trashed by Illinois State the first half of the game on March 3rd.  About 10 minutes into the game the Bears had less than 5 points on the board, the 'Birds over 20.  That allowed some play time for the Redbird Bench, which also gave the Bears an opportunity to put a few more points back on the board, but the contest was only close the first minute of the game.

Illinois State falls to Missouri State Bears

Another day spent on the grid iron at Hancock Stadium.  The new upgrades to the east side are starting to look more positive.  Most of the work is still sub terrain, but the word is that it will start becoming visible in the later half of November.  The last game this season - unless there is post season here - will be at noon on November 14th.  I'm hoping for some steel structure to be visible by then

So, the coverage today was for Best Look Magazine and the Normalite.  Be sure to check out each.  A teaser gallery is at Alan Look Photography.

Big news today was the lose to Missouri State, but a highlight for Illinois State was the passing today added enough to Matt Brown's total that he is now the leader in pass completion yards of all time in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
